Dr. Lea Goode-Harris is a poet, writer, mixed media artist, creative consultant and designer of labyrinths and other sacred places. Lea strives through her art and creative consultations to assist people to find beauty in their selves and surroundings. Her research on the psychological applications of the labyrinth forms the foundation of an innovative method of personal development using the Santa Rosa Labyrinth, as well as traditional labyrinth designs. Lea uses her art as a bridge for the imagination and the heart, and as an inspiration for connection with self and the dance of being in relationship with others.
Lea is the founder of the Santa Rosa Labyrinth Foundation and creator of the Santa Rosa Labyrinth, widely installed in public and private spaces, and spiritual centers throughout the world. In 2002, she designed the Snoopy Labyrinth for the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, CA and in 2005, the Ladybug Labyrinth. Her Santa Rosa Labyrinth design was installed on the American Psychological Association's Green Roof in Washington D.C. in 2008. Her clients have included educators, psychotherapists, and commercial leaders.
